Origin Story

About the Art

I grew up as a fan of all comic book heroes both DC and Marvel where justice prevailed under the protection of those with super powers. The ability to see through materials, seep into small areas, expand, magnetic powers, and super strength were all fascinating to me as I imagined what it would be like to have even one of these powers. Little did I know I would one day become part of this amazing team of heroes determined to serve and protect our World by preventing failures with the use of radiography, ultrasonic energy, magnetic fields, and liquid penetrant. Each of these powerful in their own way at detecting flaws in different types of materials to insure safety and preservation in all sectors.

In a world filled with heroes from other planets, heroes of exceptional strength and skill, heroes with genetic mutations are joined on Earth to protect our planet from certain destruction by fighting off attacks made on our planet with any force necessary. Our world relies on those with ordinary strength, skills, and abilities to rebuild bridges, buildings, and parks left disheveled, broken, and disabled by the affect of battlegrounds.

No longer is this necessary with the strength and support of the new team of heroes known as the Non-Destructive Team (NDT) AKA “Preventers”. This team of men and women work tirelessly behind the scenes to non-destructively inspect all types of materials used to build and repair structures, transportation, containments, and various other products to identify any potential flaws that may cause failures leading toward harming people or the environment.

This cast of heroes provide surface and subsurface evaluation together as a team to locate critical defects.

The foundation for this team consists of the Four majors (PT, MT, UT, RT) where everything else will branch off from. The story will begin with individual stories for each character in action followed by origin stories for each. Adventures will continue for each character separately for a while before crossing over into each other’s worlds. 

All the art within these pages are my own creations and illustrations. I have sketched for many years and only started working with ink when I began putting this site together as I found the colors to look better than pencil. I expect the illustration to improve over time and hope to add more detailed art as time permits.

My gallery will include other comic art that will show some of my inspirations and other creative ideas populating my head.
